06/23/17: Punch list work continued this week for the substantially complete Cosnino Road Pavement Project. This work included more sign installation throughout the project area. All traffic control has been removed and this project remains on track to be fully completed ahead of schedule.
    

Project Overview


The Cosnino Road Pavement Project is necessary to improve and extend the service life of the deteriorated 1.3-mile stretch of Cosnino Road between Townsend-Winona Road and the U.S. Forest Service boundary located just north of the train tracks. Funded entirely by Prop. 403, this project includes pavement rehabilitation, installation of widened shoulders for multimodal use and limited localized drainage improvements along the roadway. Drainage and utility work for this project is underway fall with pavement rehabilitation slated to start next spring. 
 
Construction Start: April 2017
Estimate Completion: June 2017 (Weather Permitting)
Status: Substantially Complete

Estimated Construction Cost: $2,400,000
