  1. NAU / CCC Internship

    The Coconino County Attorney’s Office provides an internship program for junior and senior college students in a wide variety of majors from Northern Arizona University (NAU) and Coconino Community College (CCC).

  2. Legal Arizona Workers Act Compliance

    Beginning January 1, 2008, under the new Legal Arizona Workers Act, employers in Arizona are subject to civil penalties, including revocation of all Arizona business licenses, for knowingly or intentionally employing an unauthorized alien, someone who is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and who is not otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States.

  3. Law Clerk Program

    Our Law Clerk Program reaches out to students in all three years of law school. Our program and work environment are designed to engage, challenge, and nurture young lawyers.

  4. DUI/Drug Court

    DUI/Drug Court provides for an alternative to traditional consequences and is a program for eligible drug and alcohol offenders.

  5. Deferred Prosecution

    The deferred prosecution program provides a meaningful alternative to prosecution for first time offenders who have committed relatively minor offenses.

  6. Bad Check Program

    The Bad Check Program provides businesses with a mechanism to recover losses through restitution and victim fees while diverting the bad check writer from criminal prosecution.

  7. Truancy Prevention

    The truancy and status offense diversion program works in collaboration with local school districts, law enforcement agencies, the Public Defenders Office, Juvenile Court and Probation, Child Protective Services, social services agencies, behavioral health, and the Coconino County Health Department.
