Supervision Services

Any person placed on probation is given a set of "terms of probation" by the Court. These are the rules probationers have to live by during the term of their probation. The terms may include remaining crime-free, community restitution, substance abuse treatment, paying restitution and court fees, along with a variety of other sanctions.

The probationer can also be placed on a variety of levels of supervision depending on the crime they commit and other relevant factors. These levels are from a “Low Risk Caseload” through Intensive Probation Supervision.

The role of the probation officer is to monitor compliance with these terms and to assist the probationer will making positive behavioral changes. Probation officers refer clients to treatment, motivate probationers to change behavior, facilitate in-house programming, conduct searches, testify in court and make arrests.
