As a laid off worker you qualify at CCHHS Career Services for employment and training services. These services range from training and education funding, to support in finding a job, or retraining for a new career path.

Our program offers services involving:

Finding a new job
  • Job readiness including resume, cover letter, and interviewing assistance
  • Workshops and Job Clubs
  • Advice on evaluating your skills and work history
  • Assessing how your skills apply to today’s job market
  • Internet, phone, FAX, photocopiers to help with your job search
Retraining for a new job or career
  • Tuition assistance at a community college, university or technical school
  • Assistance with books, fees, and supplies
  • Assistance with career and educational planning
  • Relocation assistance if you obtain new employment
  • Tools, uniforms, or supplies required on your new job
