Cosnino Road Pavement Project

Project Overview

The Cosnino Road Pavement Project was necessary to improve and extend the service life of the deteriorated 1.3-mile stretch of Cosnino Road between Townsend-Winona Road and the U.S. Forest Service boundary located just north of the train tracks. Funded entirely by Prop. 403, this project included pavement rehabilitation, installation of widened shoulders for multimodal use and limited localized drainage improvements along the roadway. Drainage and utility work for this project was completed in fall 2016 with pavement rehabilitation finished in summer 2017.
