Duties & Responsibilities
The County Manager is responsible for the daily management of County government under the policy direction of the Board of Supervisors. The county manager duties and responsibilities include:
- Implementation and administration of policies established by the Board of Supervisors, including the County budget
- Interacts with County-elected officials, other governmental agencies, and community groups
- Provides support for Board of Supervisors' initiatives and programs
- Responds to citizen requests and inquiries
- Supervision of appointed department heads
