2019 Tax Notice Breakdown

Where do your property taxes go_

Every spring, the boards for taxing districts in Arizona put together their budgets for the upcoming fiscal year. During this process, tax rates are set. In the fall, the County Treasurer collects the taxes and distributes the funds to each taxing district. For 2019 there were 47 different taxing districts in Coconino County with a tax levy. Please find information, links, and contact details for each of these taxing districts.

You may also contact our office at (928) 679-8188 for a staff member to walk through your tax notice with you.

As a result of a court ruling in the fall of 2019, desegregation funds are to continue to be listed as a separate line item on your tax notice, but as a primary tax. For historical reference and to stay in compliance with law, the 2018 desegregation fund is listed on your 2019 as "_SE SD#1 Do Not Use".
