OVERVIEW

The Coconino County Workforce Development Board serves as a convener of workforce system partners. These partners work together to enhance the capacity and performance of the workforce system, align and improve employment, training and education programs, and through these efforts promote economic growth though out Coconino County.

VISION

The Coconino County Workforce Development Board serves as a strategic leader and convener of local workforce development system stakeholders.

MISSION

The Local Board partners with employers and the workforce development system to develop policies and direct investments to support workforce system strategies and support regional approaches including local and regional Sector partnerships and career pathways, and high quality, customer centered service delivery and service delivery approaches.

LOCAL PLAN

The Coconino County WIOA 2023-2026 LOCAL PLAN-Draft  defines the strategies and initiatives to increase workforce system efficiencies that ensure the continuing growth of the workforce system and the creation of a customer-centered system in which:

  • The needs of business and workers drive workforce solutions;
  • Job Centers provide excellent customer service to all job seekers and businesses;
  • Strong regional economies are supported; and
  • The local board’s vision and goals reinforce the priorities of the state workforce system.


ONE-STOP OPERATOR

Coconino County WIOA One-Stop Operator: the Coconino County Local Workforce Board will serve as One-Stop Operator while performing RFP for the new One-Stop Operator
