Accounts Manager (Consolidated)

Human Resources is seeking a self motivated individual who has strong attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism for this Account Manager position. The candidate will need to be flexible to changing job demands and multiple priorities. 

Under general supervision performs work of moderate difficulty in the financial management of several departments including but not limited to Human Resources, Finance, Elections, County Manager's Office, and Clerk of the Board; performs related work as assigned. As such the candidate will need to be able to manage a diverse work load, prioritize, manage time effectively, work independently, ask clarifying questions, and meet deadlines while providing outstanding customer service to all the departments served. This position is at-will, unclassified. This position will be housed in Human Resources even though the position will be responsible for several departments' budgets.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related field and two years of increasingly responsible experience in finance or budgeting; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

Preferred qualifications: Governmental accounting/finance experience preferred. Experience in Tyler Munis preferred.
 
This position is non-exempt from overtime.
