The catalog includes program descriptions, fees, and has clickable links that direct you to each program's online registration page. Programs have minimum and maximum registrants and can fill up quickly, so register as soon as possible to ensure you have a spot.

How to find more information and register:

One of our goals is to make program registration easy and efficient. You can sign up for programs online through CocoRec; by filling out a registration form (PDF) and mailing it to our office along with payment; or by stopping into our office at Fort Tuthill County Park in Flagstaff, AZ. Please note that there is a non-refundable credit card processing fee applied at check-out for online registration. 

You can skip the processing fee by registering and paying with cash or a check at the Parks & Recreation Office, located at Fort Tuthill County Park. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed on weekends and holidays. Mail your registration form to:

Overview

Coconino County Parks and Recreation is committed to providing excellent and affordable programs for all individuals. A wide variety of programs are offered at any given time with opportunities for people of all skill levels to have a positive experience. 

Programming often focuses on beginners/novices to provide an accessible and inclusive setting for participation. The goal of the programs is to provide a place for exploration and inquiry. The Parks and Recreation Programming strives to help people from all walks of life to achieve goals and develop a lifelong passion for recreation through the offering of diverse recreational opportunities. 

Outdoor Adventure Summer Camp - Registration is OPEN NOW!

The Outdoor Adventure Summer Day Camp is back for its 8th year! This year we will offer seven weeklong sessions, each with its own engaging theme. Register your camper(s) today for a single week of camp, multiple weeks, or for the entire seven weeks of camp. Fieldtrips will bring kids to various locations through Northern Arizona to explore and get outside. Fieldtrips and activities may include Flagstaff Extreme, The Arboretum, Lowell Observatory, Laser Tag, Indoor Rock Climbing, Hiking Woody Mountain, team building games, visiting the Flagstaff Aquaplex, and Archery. 

Each session can accommodate a maximum of 15 campers and registration historically fills fast. Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday and is open to youth ages 8 to 13 years old. Financial Assistance is available (see the Financial Assistance section below for more information).

Financial Assistance

Coconino County Parks & Recreation and the Friends of Coconino County Parks are proud to offer financial assistance for individuals looking to enroll in recreation programs. Program Financial Assistance is currently offered, based on available funds, to residents of Coconino County. Eligible applicants can receive a 50% cost reduction for many of our recreation programs. Facility rentals, out of area trips, overnight trips, and league registrations are ineligible. Due to limited funds, households have a $140 cap on assistance per year.

Applicants can submit applications along with accompanying copies of eligibility documents via email, mail, or by dropping them off at the administrative office. Please email application packets to the Recreation Coordinator, Adam Smath at asmath@coconino.az.gov or mail application packets to:
