Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention

Senior Fall PreventionPracticing Tai Chi can help prevent seniors from falling. Tai Chi classes provide strategies to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels.

Coconino County Health and Human Services in conjunction with our partners at Northern Arizona Healthcare and Northern Arizona Council of Governments provide free Tai Chi classes. Find the right class for you below:

All classes are free and open to everyone. 

Flagstaff: All below classes are at the Joe C Montoya Community and Senior Center located at 245 N Thorpe Rd. For more information click here.

  • Beginner classes: Mondays and Wednesdays 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. 
  • Intermediate classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Advanced classes: Tuesdays and Thursdays 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
