School Psychologist

Esther Cadman is a Native American from the Navajo tribe. She comes from Pinedale, New Mexico and is from the Mountain Cove People born to the Meadow People Clan. Her maternal grandfather is of the Two Who Came to Water and her paternal grandfather is of the Towering House Clan. Esther has successfully achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies from the University of New Mexico, an educational specialist degree from the School Psychology program at the New Mexico State University, and in November of 2020 she earned her PhD in School Psychology from Northern Arizona University. Esther has 10 years of experience as a practicing school psychologist within New Mexico and Arizona. She has also developed specific research interests related to trauma, adverse childhood experiences, wholistic well-being and strategies that are instrumental in resiliency, especially within Native American communities.
