Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV)

Respiratory Syncytial Virus, better known as RSV, can cause cold-like symptoms. Most people recover in a week or two. However, infants and older adults are more likely to develop severe RSV and may require hospitalization. Vaccinations for older adults and monoclonal antibodies for young children are available.
