Museum Fire Volunteer Coordination Center

The United Way of Northern Arizona (UWNA), in coordination with Coconino County and the City of Flagstaff, will open the Museum Fire Volunteer Coordination Center.

The center will open at 8 a.m. Friday, July 26 at the Coconino County Health and Human Services department building (2625 N. King St. Flagstaff). It will be open through the weekend and until further notice.


People who are interested in helping citizens who are affected by the Museum Fire, and the potential flooding impacts, should report to the center. Volunteers will be trained and deployed to help people in the community who need assistance with sandbags and other Museum Fire and flood related issues. If people have trucks and/or trailers, they are encouraged to bring them.


Requests for volunteer support will be taken at the Coconino Call center (928-213-2990). People interested in volunteering, and who have further questions, should call the UWNA (773.9813 ext. 219), email volunteer@nazunitedway.org or text volunteernow to 51555.

Centro de Coordinación de Voluntarios del Incendio Museo

 

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – El United Way of Northern Arizona (UWNA), en coordinación con el Condado Coconino y la Ciudad de Flagstaff, abrirá un Centro de Voluntarios para el Incendio Museo. El centro abrirá el Viernes, 26 de Julio a las 8 a.m., en el edificio del departamento de Salud y Servicios Humanos del Condado Coconino (2625 N. King St. Flagstaff). Estará abierto durante el fin de semana hasta nuevo aviso.


Personas que estén interesadas en ayudar a ciudadanos afectados por el Incendio Museo, y potenciales impactos de inundación, deberán reportarse al centro. Voluntarios serán entrenados y desplegados en la comunidad que requiera asistencia con costales de arena y otras cuestiones que estén relacionadas con el Incendio Museo e inundaciones. Si las personas tienen trocas o/y remolques, se les anima a traerlas.


Solicitudes de apoyo voluntario serán tomadas en el Centro de Llamadas de Coconino (928-213-2990). Personas interesadas en ser voluntarios que tengan más preguntas, deberan hablar a UWNA (773.9813 ext. 219), página web volunteer@nazunitedway.org o mande texto volunteernow a 51555.
