2020 Teacher of the Year and Rookie Teacher of the Year celebration postponed

To help curb the spread of COVID-19 through social distancing the Coconino County Education Service Agency (CCESA) has decided to postpone the 2020 Teacher of the Year and Rookie Teacher of the Year celebration until Early August.

The CCESA is extremely thankful to all presenters and speakers for their kindness, support and quick responses towards finding a new date and adjusting their schedules. The CCESA extends their gratitude to all the event programming guest, Jeremy Gemetta, Coconino High School Media Teacher, Beverly Stearns, Williams High School Band and Choir and Amy Dries, Sinagua Middle School, for all their hard work.

The CCESA thanks all their sponsors who supported and offered encouragement for the event and is grateful for everyone’s continued support. The support allows the CCESA to honor one of the County’s most valuable resources, its teachers.

The CCESA is working with venues to secure a new date for August and will announce the new date once it is set.
