Coconino County Manager James Jayne has announced the appointment of Siri Mullaney as the Director of Finance/Chief Financial Officer, effective June 1.
Mullaney has over 18 years of increasing responsibility and experience in budgeting, accounting, procurement, finance and management. Mullaney has served as the Director of the Northern Arizona University Budget Office for the last two years and previously served as Dean of Finance at Coconino Community College and various other roles at the College, Coconino County and in the private sector.
“We’re proud to have Siri return to the County team,” said County Manager James Jayne. “Siri is a dedicated and innovative financial professional who brings a wealth of experience to our Chief Financial Officer role. Siri served with the County through the Great Recession and helped us develop our recessionary financial planning tool and process. As we encounter a serious fiscal situation caused by COVID-19, Siri will provide leadership and wisdom to guide us through the coming economic downturn and recovery efforts.”
As Finance Director, Mullaney will oversee the work of the County Finance & Purchasing office, including county budget development and management, audit, purchasing and grant compliance functions.

Mullaney is a graduate of NAU with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and received a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant in Arizona. Siri and her family reside in the Flagstaff area.
