FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) is holding a Back to School Health Fair on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The event will be held at the Health and Human Services Building, 2625 N. King St., Flagstaff. Those planning to attend are encouraged to check County social media for weather related event updates at facebook.com/CoconinoCounty and twitter.com/coconinocounty.
Students can receive vaccinations required for Arizona School entry and vaccinations recommended by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). School required vaccinations will be available at no out of pocket cost. Vaccinations are available via the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program for those who qualify. Those with insurance are asked to bring their insurance card.
“During the pandemic, routine childhood vaccination rates dropped dramatically,” CCHHS Director Kim Musselman said. “Although numbers began rebounding this spring and summer as families rescheduled doctors’ visits, many children and adolescents are still behind on their shots. We want to make getting school vaccinations as easy as possible.”
